About Us

  The Rose McQuarrie Legacy Fund was established in 2021 to honour the memory of Rose—Mom—who passed away after a brief, aggressive battle with pancreatic cancer.

Since its inception, the fund has raised $166,350 through our annual golf tournament and November Wine Battle, held during Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.

Pancreatic cancer receives less attention than many other cancers, yet it has one of the lowest survival rates. Fewer than 6% of people diagnosed survive more than five years, and the disease can progress from stage 1 to stage 4 in less than a year.

Through the Rose McQuarrie Legacy Fund, the McQuarrie family will raise funds to support urgently needed research toward a cure for pancreatic cancer. The fund will also provide support for families living with the disease or grieving the loss of a loved one.

By establishing the Rose McQuarrie Legacy Fund, we ensure Rose’s legacy lives on—not only through her children and grandchildren, but through the impact of every dollar raised. If our efforts help spare even one family from experiencing what we have, we will consider them a success.
