The Rose McQuarrie Legacy Fund was established after Rose lost a short and aggressive fight with Pancreatic Cancer. Pancreatic cancer doesn’t receive as much press or publicity as some of the other cancers but has one of the lowest survival rate of all cancers. Under 6% of those diagnosed survive for more than five years and typically it goes from stage 1 to stage 4 in under a year.
The McQuarrie family will direct the Rose McQuarrie Legacy fund by raising funds to support much needed research to finding a cure for Pancreatic Cancer. This fund will also provide family support for those living with these cancers or have lost someone to Pancreatic Cancer.
By establishing the The Rose McQuarrie Legacy Fund we ensure Rose lives on, not only through her children and grandchildren, but also through the impact of every dollar raised. If together we can prevent even one family from experiencing what we are, we will consider these continued efforts a success.
